Loyalty card

1. General
These Terms & Conditions are applicable when you apply for, are the in possession of and/or use the Paolo Salotto loyalty card, hereafter ‘loyalty card’. The holder of the loyalty card, hereafter ‘loyalty member’, has taken notice of these Terms & Conditions by filling out the application form. By signing the application form, the loyalty member has agreed these Terms & Conditions.

2. Apply for the loyalty card
All natural persons of 18 years and older can apply for a loyalty card by signing an application form and submitting this form in one of our shops at Schiphol Plaza. Your application will be judged by Paolo Salotto and can be refused without reason. You can only apply for one loyalty card per postal address. After acceptance the loyalty card (price €5,-) is ready to use.

3. Discount
The loyalty card gives you the possibility, but no obligation, to buy any product from the product line of Paolo Salotto with 10% discount. Articles that are on sale, on special offer or have any other action price are excluded from this discount, unless the loyalty card gives a bigger discount. You must show your loyalty card before paying at the cash desk to make use of the discount. The discount will be shown on the receipt. The cash register shows always the correct price and discount and is leading for the price to be paid when a dispute is in place. After finalizing the payment it is not possible to get your discount. No discount will be granted on: special offers, delivery costs, pre-payments, guarantee payments, gift cards and costs for repairs. Paolo Salotto is allowed to make special arrangements and discounts during specified periods in which the loyalty member can get additional discounts on specified products.

4. Growth of discount
The loyalty card gives the loyalty member the possibility to let the percentage of discount grow. When a loyalty member spends more than €100,- in one calendar year in our shops, he will get 2% additional discount in the next calendar year. The maximum discount granted will be 20%. The loyalty member will always keep his granted discount.

5. Losing the loyalty card
It is possible for a loyalty member to apply for a new loyalty card when your loyalty card is lost or damaged. Paolo Salotto will charge €7,50 administration costs when the new loyalty card is picked up. After checking the information the lost loyalty card will be blocked. We can transfer your granted discount of the lost loyalty card to the new loyalty card.

6. Ownership and use of the loyalty card
The loyalty card will remain property of Paolo Salotto. The loyalty card is strictly personal (and non-transferable) and can only be used by private persons. The loyalty member may not lend out his card. Paolo Salotto will directly block the loyalty card when unlawful use is ascertained. All discounts granted and given to the loyalty member will be charged back. Paolo Salotto can block and take back the loyalty card without prior consent and without reason. The granted discount will then expire automatically. When the loyalty member does not want to use the loyalty card anymore, he should return his card to Paolo Salotto.

7. Changes and termination
Paolo Salotto has the right to change and/or cancel the benefits (such as the discount) of the loyalty card. Paolo Salotto also has the right to change or cancel the whole loyalty program. In case each of these cases occur Paolo Salotto will communicate this in its store, on the website and per e-mail.

8. Privacy and personal data
The data of the loyalty member and it’s purchases will be registered in a Paolo Salotto data file and will be handled confidential. Paolo Salotto is entitled to use this data to inform loyalty members about (additional) benefits, to send mailings and for analysing purposes. The data will never be disclosed to third parties, unless this is legally required. Changes in the personal data of the loyalty member should be reported to customer service (+31 (0)252-629160 / info@paolo-salotto.com) or in one of the shops. When a loyalty member does not want to receive mailings he can unregister by sending an e-mail. The loyalty member will then only receive general mailing, which are be send to all loyalty members.

9. Liability
Paolo Salotto is not responsible for any liability due to loss or theft of the loyalty card, neither due to unauthorized use and/or fraudulent actions with the loyalty card. Exempted from cases of deliberate action or gross negligence, Paolo Salotto is not liable for any loss in relation to or due to not being able to use, not being able to use in time and/or not fully able to use the loyalty card, for whatever reason. Besides, Paolo Salotto is not liable for any loss arising from the use and the trust in the information about the benefits of the loyalty card. In case of any presumption of fraud, misuse or misguided behaviour Paolo Salotto has the right to cancel the benefits of the loyalty card and to terminate the loyalty card.

10. Final provisions
Paolo Salotto reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions. The updated Terms & Conditions are available at Paolo Salotto. The continued use of the loyalty card by the loyalty member after the moment changes are made constitutes acceptance of those changes. In the event that any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms & Conditions, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
